Vision: The vision of CTCA is to be a sustainable, leading centre of excellence in empowering and facilitating tobacco control to achieve a tobacco-free Africa.

Mission: To pool evidence, build partnerships, mobilize resources, build capacity, and create tools to advance tobacco control in Africa

Aim: To reduce the use of tobacco by supporting governments in implementing evidence-based tobacco control strategies in Africa

Values: Professionalism, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence

Location: The Centre is hosted by Makerere University School of Public Health (MaKSPH ) and is housed at  Kasangati, MaKSPH campus, next to Kasangati Health Centre III, on Gayaza Road, 15 KMs from the City Center.
