participants at the Kenya TC Coordination meetingNairobi, Kenya;  March 24, 2014- Tobacco Control Partners in Kenya are meeting for an initial Tobacco Control ( TC) Coordination meeting to develop a mechanism for synchronising TC activities in the country. Over twenty partners are meeting at the Serova Pan Afric Hotel in Nairobi, in Kenya to discuss their various activities, strength, weaknesses, threats and opportunities, and develop strategies for enhancing the available opportunities through coordination.

The participants who turned up with a lot of enthusiasm will develop a country coordination model to guide all TC activities in the country so as to leverage partnership and minimise duplication.  The meeting was an opportunity for the Partners to get to know each other’s activities as well as share their strength and weaknesses. It is organised by the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in conjunction with CTCA.
